DTC'S
Anyone have or can guide me to some schematics. I have the following codes:
26- Evap Purge Circuit 27-Egr Sol. Circuit 77-Fan 1 Circuit I have a 95 z28. I did all the basic checks-Fuses,connectors,ect. Something tells me they are all related. When I clear the codes they all come back together right away. Need to start tracing the wires. Thanks! |

clean out your evap purge solenoid
bottom left picture in this diagram. take a small shopvac and pull the purge lines and suck the crap out of them. they get clogged over time and mess stuff up http://shbox.com/1/evap_system.jpg http://shbox.com/1/evap_sol.jpg your EGR valve is probably worn. fire up the motor, once its warmed up, reach behind the intake to the EGR valve and depress the valve inside the EGR valve, if the motor rpm/sound doesnt change at all, then you need to replace the valve. also check the vacuum line for the egr solenoid as well http://shbox.com/1/opti_vacuum_conn.jpg http://shbox.com/1/egr1.jpg for the fan, replace the relay in the fuse box under the hood.
