On E65 at your power level, it just looks like you’re starting to get on the edge. What size is your fuel pump lobe?

744 WHP on stock cam and E65 (in your signature)…? I’d say you’re ahead of the game.

Injector pulse width will open up as rail pressure drops. 2500 PSI isn’t a massive drop in pressure. As that goes down IPW will climb.

Fuel system is always a balancing act. IPW vs rail pressure. On a stock cam, HPFP will run out of steam before injectors. After cam, the other way around depending on commanded pressure.

I always thought we were good up to 6 ms ipw. comanded is 2900 lt1 will hold the 2300 untill in the 6s then drop.

50 gph of meth makes up for the fuel system. lol love meth plus it makes power

Is the meth direct port? If not, the unequal distribution is a recipe for trouble. Not to mention that meth system reliability is significantly worse than an OEM style fuel system. One bad fertilizer pump means you’re buying a new shortblock.

You are good to 6 ms. But if you’re not holding commanded rail pressure, your system is heading in the wrong direction. You’re passing the flashing lights for the bridge out down the road.

5.6-5.8 is about all I can run on my LT4, If you have a stock LT1 cam its less, so its likely you will start loosing pressure by about 5.5 with lt4 hardware and lt1 cam

less than 130* if I remember correctly. That might be LT4 max though.

See below.
