12698353 appears to be a truck oil pump that costs half the price of ours. Whether or not it can be used with the Camaro, I don't know, but I wouldn't risk it.
I have 12686434 that is the pump used in 2021 cars, but online catalogs don't show a 2022 fitment for it, maybe a new revision does exist (but I seriously doubt 12698353 would be it).

Indeed, but I can't trust an oil pump that costs barely more than half of what my 2021 did.

If you’re into the shortblock, now’s the time to install the Katech billet one and be done with it. Just my 2 cents.

CSP supposedly uses the truck pumps on their builds... per member Camaro1973.

The truck pump doesn’t have the variable flow that the lt1 has. But you have to get in the tune. I believe the Katech hi flow pump is based on the truck pump
