Dash logic ambient temp

I tried searching and didn't find anything. Also please move this if it's the wrong section

2013 ZL1.

The ambient temp on the dash logic is very different from the one displayed on the my link screen. The difference is 8-12 degrees. Has anyone run into this?

I have iat1&2 and ambient temp displayed.

Thanks

It's version 1.21. No issues with that. Iat1&2 appear to be reading correct although I don't have another gauge to verify. Ambient is different than all the other readings. Last night my link said 72 and dashlogic said 80.

I wonder if the dashlogic is using a blended temp or something. I'm stumped

What are the temp differences at cold start up? My iat 1 & 2 and the ambient temp on the radio are all within a few degrees on cold start.

I asked about the iats because wondered if same as ambient? Also see post 17 in this thread…it could be your problem as you have a ‘13

Thanks. I saw that before I installed it. Any idea how I'd get a 1.17 version copy?
The ambient temp changes it just doesn't match the my link, which to be honest, I'm not sure is accurate. Maybe the DL is right?. Not that big of deal I just thought someone might know why. Like maybe the DL uses a algorithm or a blended temp.
Everything else has worked flawlessly. No freezes or glitches.

You want v1.15 not v1.17 which is for ‘14-‘15s. PM me with your email if you want v1.15
