you just need to do some trimming on the lt2 intake and remove the insulator/sound foam. and it will fit.

Not to be a smarty but gpi told me it would not. I have already trimmed the fins all off is their more needed. I have not tried it yet. One of the reviews on the gpi form asked the question and they said it would when I called them they said it would not.

So Im lost

Maybe its time to go thpsi port injection. You won't need the big pump.

So their is so much do this and it will fit I just went ahead and tried it. This is at 20000 miles and you can see where its touching the stock lt1 high pressure fuel pump. The lt4 is a good half inch taller. So the answer is its not even close the lt4 WILL NOT fit with out some type of spacer.

Yup it’s true, the LT4 fuel pump will not fit. The LT2 intake manifold will fit after trimming for the Lt1 fuel pump only. This is not good for certain builds that wanted to upgrade to the LT4 fuel pump.

You could always go to the LPE big bore pump. It’s a modified LT1 pump. Should fit.

Yes thanks good suggestion but thats about the same money as toohighpsi port injection I think close anyway. I think u can get alot more fuel with the port. another thing is no more time limit on when u can inject with port also cleaner valves. I think I am gonna go that way.

You can get a lot more fuel with port. Depends on what you want to do. If your goals are 600-800rwhp and you don’t mind mixing it’s simpler to only deal with one controller. If you want full E85 at that level or want to go big on E (800+) then I’d go port.

I have the same problem. Mine seemed to fit when I installed it about a year ago and then not long ago it cracked right above the lt4 hpfp and started throwing a code. I just heard from GPI and was told the same thing. But I also thought I read on there site that the modification they do would fit the lt4 hpfp. I see ICT has a spacer but not sure if they will work for what we are looking for. I need to call them to verify.

I just talked to ICT and they recommended their Gen 5 LT1 Cylinder Head to LT4 Supercharger Adapter Plates #551590 for an intake spacer. Of course they are $100 more than the other flanges mentioned above.
