New tires needed for the spring

I have Zl1 rims with Goodyear F1 supercar tires G:1 that are from 2013. I LOVE the look of these tires, however, everything else about them I hate. Since I put on about 2k miles a year, I just put up with them but it's now about time I get a new set of tires.

From what I see, there are several options out there but because I only drive in the summer, on nice days, summer tires are what I'm looking for... Ideally, I'd like to get something that had that F1 look but that limited me down to 1 offering.

Right now, it seems that the NT555 seems to be the favorite out there but I'd be curious what direction others have gone.

thanks!

joe...

I was between NT555s, General G-max RS, and Firestone Indy Firehawk 500. I went with the G-max RS due to availability and reviews. Had the nittos been available I would have probably chosen those. I loved my NT05s years back.

Stay away from the Nitto 555's unless you get the 555R's, the new G2's suck!! I had a set on the rear, didn't like them and GAVE them away. I am very happy with the Conti Extreme Contact DWS06's. Have ran them for 11 years, front and back, and still have a set on the front, but am running MPSS out back because they are the only ones who make a 335 for the 11.5 wide wheels, and THEY suck.. No traction... lol.

I've been happy with the Nitto 555 G2s. Quiet, good grip but it I'm sure a lot depends on the setup and power output.
