Anyone buy anything painted from RPI recently? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I’m thinking about buying some stuff from RPI but I’ve heard a few horror stories on here in the not too distant past about it taking 3+ months to receive painted parts. Anyone have any recent experiences with them (last 3-6 months) that you’d be willing to share? I could easily get my painter to paint stuff but he’s not always the quickest either. I emailed RPI and they said 5-6 weeks lead time (which I can live with) but im not sure if I should trust that given what I’ve read here in the last few years.

I bought ZL1 rocker panels from them. Had them paint the top half red and bottom gloss black. Got them in 5 weeks. Very nice paint work also.

Back at the beginning of May I ordered some painted ZL1 rockers. Got the email they was shipped around the beginning of July, so about 8 weeks. Remember 5-6 weeks is just an estimate and actual time varies depending on their current work load and if they have the item on hand to paint or are waiting on their order from a dealer.

I got their fender brake vents last Black Friday and it took the 5-6 weeks. They shipped missing one of the screens but they made it right pretty quick.

Gen6 ZL1/1LE brakes. 2011 Vert - 416/w 230/236 .612/.602 115lsa, 1LE suspension w/32mm rear bar. Z28 diff. ZL1 brakes.
