Driver-side door speaker turns off with AUX
Hey guys my driver-side door speaker is having some problems, or actually it’s my whole left side of the car. Normally everything is working fine, no static or any signs of a bad speaker, but whenever I connect my phone through Bluetooth, IPhone cable to USB, or using the aux adapter, my left side all goes completely quiet. I ignored it as it only happens very few times like 1/20th of the times and only during a form of AUX, but when it does happen I won’t get any sound from the left side when using a form of AUX till the next time I drive my car. It’s becoming annoying and so I’ve started experimenting which is how I found out NO TYPES OF AUX will have volume on the left side and also by moving the balance of the sound all to the left is how I found out there’s no volume in the rear driver side either. No by turning off the car and turning it back on will not revive my driver-side sound, but when I switch back to radio all sound is there. I had 2 12’ subs set up, with me thinking while they do this they will check my driver side cables for me to see if they find anything wrong... which they didn’t. Guy’s only comment was “I don’t know might be your stock amp”. Problem didn’t happen while at the shop so they didn’t experience it.
2010 Camaro Lt Sorry for the long paragraph hopefully someone can help me and I hope it’s a cheap fix. |

I’m thinking maybe you have your phone set to Mono and not stereo
Try going to Settings, General, Accessibility and then under Hearing, make sure Mono is off. Not sure if this will fix but it’s worth checking out |

As for the tip I had nvr thought about that, but checking it out now MONO was off and all the other setting seem normal. It even has a separate balance here too for sound distribution and it’s centered as well. No luck in this part :/ Thx though |

Can you try another device to play music through? Maybe a friend or family members phone? At least you can figure out if it’s the car or just your phone. Nevermind just saw you tried another phone |

Hey why don’t you try disconnecting the battery temporarily. Maybe it will reset something.

The shop I got my subs installed at, I’m kinda taking advantage of so they can check my cabling for me is actually open tomorrow so ima have them take a look at it first and then try this when I get back if the problem continues. Sucks that I haven’t found anyone else with my problem for solutions... but at the same time lucky you guys haha |

Just an Update
Took my car in to the shop I got the subs installed at, they’re ganna check my wiring carefully this time to make sure they don’t miss anything, but even the guy kept telling me he’s never heard of the whole left side turning off with Bluetooth. That it makes sense with the lightning or aux but not with the Bluetooth but that they will still check it out for me. Stuck without my baby for a few hours now : ( Ima go sleep through this depression |

I’ve also seen on another thread that the radios programming sometimes causes problems and I got the worst program on mine but.. dealership is asking for $160 to program it so ima hold off on that. So far been using my car all day without problems. |
