Why no other options for plastic IM’s?

So I am looking to do headers, intake manifold, ported 95mm throttle body, and a tune in the near future. I would really love to get a ported msd manifold, but they are just ridiculously expensive IMO. Why haven’t there been any competitors to come out with similar manifolds for less? I am not 100% against a ported LT2, but even with the cover I am not a fan of the look. I think the msd looks way better. Just looking for thoughts/opinions!

I see what you're saying but I couldn't see the cost of the MSD to beat the LT2 costs. The amount of gains the MSD has over it don't cover the cost differences to me.
