This the best mod/Upgrade I've Done to my car.
Biggest thing it looks like it came from the factory

I have a 2014 that came with MyLink but no nav. I had a unit programmed by GEN5DIY. While programming they add the reverse lines and supposedly update with the "latest and newest maps". Well that said..... I recently returned from Birmingham, AL to coastal NC. During that road trip I noticed several problems with the "latest and newest maps". Traveling route 431 from Gadsden AL to Interstate 20 I drove over 35 miles with NO road what so ever, frigging thing kept telling me to make a U turn as soon as possible. Thank God I didn't! Between 35 & 40 miles later I could see 431 on the map but my car was traveling in open space to the west of the highway, finally the car go back on the road. Hit one area in SC for about 10 miles that the car went of course?

Adding on my link...
Sorry guys, I need to ask this question. I currently purchased a 2013 non-nav MyLink system for my 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS vert. Now, after seeing this thread, I think I may have made a mistake doing this. I am missing the face panel power wire (blue on both ends). I cant seem to find it anywhere before going to the dealer and was wondering if there is much more than that I need. I am afraid I may have bitten off more than I can chew. The guy will not answer me back and I am at a loss right now. The car is sitting for the winter and I wanted to have it ready for spring. Any ideas?
Thanks! |

Hey,
I still search for a solution. Swap 2011 to 2013 without cam or navi, don't want this. Still got the blue usb cable. Screen is black, no function. I think I need Power (12V?) to the unused connector for cam and antennas, but don't know wich pin |

unlock button is not an issue

I found a work around for adding swc to a camaro that different come equipped. You will save at least 250 bucks. I did it to my 2010 camaro. And didn't even have to get the bcm reprogrammed.
