Is a ‘19 front camera in the works with the new wiring?

Any plans to sell just the modified blade spoiler? Would like to swap the stock ‘19 ZL1 spoiler for a blade spoiler but retain the rear camera functionality.

Now that the 2020's have the camera in the shark fin antenna, any chance we will see the option available for purchase on you're website?

Any pics of the backside of the Bow Tie?
I'm thinking of a mod like that as I am going with a ZLE wing, and removed the camera out of my stock spoiler, so that part is covered. Wondering how big a hole I'll need in the deck lid..... Thanks ? Quote:

2020 ZLE did not even get the wiring back to the shark fin, but still a good question for Offer.

That is correct mlee. While the 2020 ZLE did not get it, the regular ZL1 and the SS did, so the parts should now be available?

My comment was directed at the wiring, plugs etc which would not be available. The GM engineers explained this part to me at Camaro Fest last year. It's essentially a 2019 in that regard but I'm sure Offer can handle the wiring with no issue. Just not an easy plug and play.

Per the GM Online Order Guide, the 2021 ZL1 1LE still doesn't get the camera mirror. A 2SS or regular ZL1 without a sunroof use the same headliner harness. This should be some key strokes in an Engineering Work Order for them.

Also the reason for not putting it in the ZLE was the wing was in the bottom of the picture. When I mentioned it just gives good depth perception sort of like adjusting your side mirrors where you see the side of the car I got some nodding heads. Also, mentioned that currently the wing is dead center in the mirror which is even worse. Also one of the main reasons for moving it to the shark fin on the other models is it's closer to the driver so a much better distance perception. |

Sweet I would love to have that on my 17 vert going via the bowtie is a great idea.

Ahh... Makes perfect sense. I did assume the actual harness Gen5diy was custom anyway, but maybe not. I thought that maybe up higher would make the wing less of any issue, but again who really knows. It would probably the best to find a 2020 Z and fit the 1LE wing on to see how it is in the mirror. Also, is anyone aware of any pictures of just the camera unit itself? Maybe 3D printing a new center support for the 1LE wing would be a better solution?
