So "rumors" of a possible Mustang refresh sent Mustang sales from all-time highs into a major free-fall over the last few months???...I doubt it. There's got to be more to it than that...
Instead of Mustang customers waiting for a refresh, I think they are just saving up a little more money to buy a Camaro 1LE or ZL1...lol... |

When you increase the price by 6K over Gen5 models and have a significant price disparity between the Camaro and Mustang this is what happens. The price is too HIGH!!!

Now I can buy a Camaro and tell everyone that it outsells the Mustang.
Phew! I was getting concerned that having the better performance of the Camaro wasn't going to be enough to overcome the stigma of less sales volumes, but now...now it's ok.

But I guess when that's all you have that's all you have. People can say what they want about the back and forth. Both sides have cronies who push it. But the sales argument was invented/pushed heavily starting in the dark ages of the 4.6 era in the Furd camp. Fact. |
