BMR strut tower brace, does it raise ride height and chew up strut mount?
Hi all, I'm interested to hear from owners of the BMR strut tower brace for 2010 model. From reading the install and looking at the pics the mount bolts ar placed directly above the rubber strut pad mount so this would have the rubber strut mount resting on the four bolt heads and not on the underside cup of the strut tower which seems like it would raise the ride height ever so slightly and as the strut pad moves when the wheel is turned it would be moving against the bolt heads instead of the smooth underside cup of the tower. Is this right?

There are no issues - it does not raise ride height or chew up the Mount.
There is a gap under there for the Strut to move as it is design to do! |
