Sounds just like Ford and the 2011-2014 Manual Mustang GT transmission mess. Ford said tuff sh*T. Or the older Mustangs and the cracking intake manifold that leaked. Remember that? There was a lawsuit over that too. Despite the lawsuit, Ford managed to find a way to deny me a manifold replacement despite 3 different mechanics telling me that Ford needs to be fixing it, not out of my pocket. There are some Ford warranty work horror stories if you read the Mustang forums. This is why American automakers lost their arses in the 1990s and 2000s. Poor quality and not standing behind their products. And regarding demand, the dealers do have them on their lots. problem is the prices is too high and the dealers have these loaded up 2SSs and loaded up LT1s and they just sit and sit and sit on the lot for months. That and they offer sh*tty rebates and incentives on their cars. At least Ford offers incentives. |

Is it just me, or does it smell of a scam? Its easier to fake a letter like that than it is an email address\site. There is no way i would even consider that.

$500 covers the monthly payment with a little change to spare, but not worth the wear and tear, the inconvenience, or the worrying of whether something might accidently go wrong...

$500? Lmao. The only way I let them test my car for $500 is they bring their test equipment and test the car in my driveway. If the car needs to be driven I can drive while they sit in backseat

I would call them up and ask if that $500 is negotiable also. $750 would be more appropriate.
But still its $500 for minimal inconvenience. I'd probably do it. |
