Never had a problem jacking up this car quickly using jack pads from Amazon, piece of cake yet there are never ending threads about how it's rocket science and someone always has to show off their lift

dude you are always so negative when people ask questions! whether it be oil or anything else. Why does it provoke you to be so negative in your replies. If answering questions bothers you so much maybe you should stay off the forum or not comment if you cant be constructive. No reason to be an asshat just answer the question or dont

The whole purpose of forums is to share information and gather to discuss common interests. Some people are just incapable of recognizing where they are and what’s going on around them. I’ll keep sharing what I have to offer and I don’t care who doesn’t like it.

IGNORE feature works for me. It's his loss if no one pays attention to him.

I'm not trying to be "negative" but it's straightforward - cutouts under the car show you where to place jackstands, use jack pads to protect the pinch welds e.g. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...64&postcount=6

When placing jack stands under pinch welds do you use anything to protect pinch welds? I already have 4 ZL1 addons lift points installed for jacking the car up but I am still not sure where to place jack stands.

No I just position the jack stand arm to avoid the pinch weld. The problem is when you take these cars to tire shops they don't care and pinch welds inevitably get a few bends

I bought some ESCO flat top jack stands so I can jack from the front or rear of car and use the jack pads on the flat top stands.

Pasted a link to the image, image size was way too large for the forum.

On the four post I have, I bought the accessory trolley jack (in front of car) that rides in the inside grooves of the lift lands. I can lift both sides or one side with this extra hydraulic jack assembly that has extendable arms that reach out to grab under body lift points. So swapping tires, brake pads etc is very possible. Plus my lift is portable, and I have the wheel kit as well.

But yes it is also used to just park things on if I wish.

It’s not just an extra parking space.
Nice..... I didn't think of that. Actually, the 2 post lift is what is selling for only a grand here. so I'll get that, But I like the 4 post and your floor piece to lift the front or rear is brilliant.

That's why you buy ZL1 addons lift pads... They saved my ass. Thanks ZL1 Forum members for recommending. You all saved my and my car FOR SURE.

You know, I have seen jack stands rubber adapters. If I wasn't buying my own lift, I'd buy these rubber adapters along with my stands. Those AddOn lift pads were a life saver for me though. Can't rave about them enough. I saw it in action, when these Thai mechanics would have really messed up my car. I'm so lucky to have listened to the forum members that suggested these. I can't thank them enough, really. But they did forget to tell me to be careful and go very slowly over steep speed bumps (slightly touched the lift pad once)....
