It clears fine, they are the direct drilled made to fit or that’s what they said but I originally had the et street bias that’s why I went with the 9.5 but the radials fit fine on there

Sweet. I like the look of them! I’ll prob do that with a 305/45 ET street R. High speed get sketchy since the side wall is a little more bubbled out due to it being a smaller diameter wheel? I figure it’ll help launch tho, so the smaller diameter wheel gives the tire more surface contact .
I believe the 305/45 is the equivalent of 12” wide tire. And just shy of 28” tall. I wanna day 27.8” .

MT ET Street R 305/45*17 on Weld 17*10. Even with this squat, no clearance issues. I am ZL1 back halved.

Yes sir, unless my memory is serving me incorrect on wheel width.

Me too! Especially with a 20 in the front, even though it defeats the purpose slightly.

I've narrowed my search down to Forgestar D5 17x10 , Weld SR71 17x10, RaceStar 17x9.5 ...

I've got pros / cons for both. I've heard the RaceStar's have crappy lug nuts that are apparently PITA aside from that, they're a good bang for the buck. Weld's have a 6 or more week wait and cost significantly more for just to me after asking around/ researching. Weld you're just paying for the name and customer support. And then a good middle ground is the Forgestar D5, but I can't seem to find anyone running them, how they fit and they seem to be a "made to order" as well. But are much cheaper than Welds.

From research all 3 choices are 19/20lbs . So leaning towards Forgestar or Racestar. Just trying to find Forgestar available in 17x10. Anyone know who sells them? Or anyone have pics of the D5 installed on a 5th Gen Camaro? TIA!

I was gonna go with the D5 beadlocks but everybody and their damn brother has them around here,..I hate being like everyone else so I just couldn't do it,..they don't look as good in person as they do in pics imo either. If the spike windows were machined they would be better,..but weld may get sand in their ****** then ha

Questions guys, so I found a set of 17x10 Weld S71’s with 305/45 ET street R’s with 2 passes on them. Got them for a steal! I mounted them last night and backed out of my driveway into the street and went back into the garage. Prob 100’ total. I noticed a slight rubbing noise over my exhaust. I looked at the wheels and they seem to rub on the LCA or bolt?
I searched and it seemed pretty normal. But do I need to take a grinder or Dremel to LCA or LCA bolt? Or what’s the best way to make to clearance? I haven’t taken wheel off to see exactly what it’s rubbing on. I assume I can trim just enough away to make clearance and since it’s a suspension component it will move with the wheel. So when launching it still shouldn’t make contact. I also heard to zip tie E-brake cable away from tire. Anything else? Thanks guys!

Yes zip tie your e brake cable and it’s more then likely hitting your sway bar bolt so you’ll need to grind that down
