WHAT IS THE "SKINNY" ON THE AFTER MARKET NPP DUAL EXHAUST MODIFICATION KITS SUCH AS "MILD TO WILD" AND "EXHAUST COMMANDER" ETC.? ARE THEY COMPATIBLE WITH THE C7? THERE IS ALSO AN ADAPTER ,"NPP MILD ADJUSTER CONTROL KIT" , WHICH ADJUSTS THE MILD TO WILD KIT BY ALLOWING YOU TO CHOOSE VARIOUS FIXED OPENENINGS IN THE CLOSED CYCLE. I AM CONFUSED HOW ALL OF THIS PLAYS OUT WITH THE VARIOUS GM RIDE SELECTIONS.
HELP, PLEASE?

Mild to Wild won't work with the C7 NPP. The C6 NPP system, 2 valves, were vacuum activated. The C7 NPP has 4 valves and they are electrically activated. You can control the C7 exhaust by using the "mode" selector and I think you can set the exhaust via the settings menu as well. There are so many ways to tinker with this car!
I'll post a photo of the NPP system shortly.
Here you go. The valves installed forward of the mufflers are used to help with possible "drone" sounds when running in ECO mode. The valves mounted between the muffler and the exhaust tips are opened for extra performance under hard acceleration. These valves are a little harder to see (outside two exhaust pipes) but they're there.

Here is a picture of the exhaust and the frame without the body. You can see two of the four electric valves on the exhaust pipes just before the mufflers and two more just before the exhaust tips on the outboard pipes.
