they ganged up on me

i whooped the RT on the right and the next day the SRT on the left showed up i have nothing left to prove. it reminded me of elementary school when you got in a fight won and then the kids big brother showed up.
and i'm not impressed!

There's a guy at work that loves to brag about his SRT. He doesn't know about my ZL1. I just smile and nod knowing I easily have over 100 hp on him. Someday I might let him know...most likely at the stop light outside of work

The R/T has the 5.7L which is uninspiring to say the least and judging by the wheels on the SRT, it is either an '09 or a '10 which means that it has the old 6.1L.

Meh...

you are correct on all counts. after my wreck i test drove a "shaker" i't just reminded me that the 5th gen camaro was the right choice. even if you go 392 scat pack vs ZL1. same price range on the previously enjoyed market but the ZL1 kicks that ass.

Agreed. If you place the ZL1 against an equally priced FCA Challenger or Ford Mustang, it is no contest.

Our own are not immune to this disease. I have a 2017 SS Convertible. A 2019 or 20 RS Convertible chased me down on the expressway trying to get me to roll race. Sat fender to fender and he kept giving me the 3-horn salute and “pulling away”. I didn’t take the bait because I had just gotten knicked for 90 in a 55 in the same area (written up as 65 in a 55, but that’s another story.)

I get off at my exit. Mr. RS crosses three lanes of traffic to make the same exit. Now we’re on city streets, I’m heading home. I’m in the left lane. A pickup is in the right lane. Mr. RS is in the curb/parking lane and there are parked cars on the next block, so his lane ends. Since both our tops are down I yell over to him “it ain’t worth it”. He revs. Light changes. Yeah, I did it. He took a right turn at the next light. Not my proudest moment, but he had gotten on my last nerve. He apparently assumed newer meant faster. I would’ve preferred to pull over and talk about the cars. Oh well.

They`re not ganging up on you, they`re just hoping some of that GM performance will rub off on them!

The good news is you can get those guys professional opinions on the best tow truck company to call if you'd ever happen to need one.

I could say that about GM as Dodge has been above them in Quality for the Challenger for awhile now.

Not to question the "authorities" at CR but in '15 I purchased my 2LS, a friend of mine bought a V6 Challenger. No dealer visits with my Camaro as of now. During the first year of ownership he made several trips to the dealer for trans problems (replaced), a heated seat that wouldn't turn off and an oil pump noise the dealer claimed was "normal". His ex-wife took the car after their divorce. My friend got the better end of the deal by keeping his Harley.

I get it but out of the 30 plus people that have Challengers that are in my circle of friends not one person had indicated to me that they had issues with their car, some are on their 2nd 3rd Challengers following the HP.
I have had 1 issue with my Challenger that I have had for 10 years and 80k
