Huge bang over big bumps

Most of the roads around me are fairly smooth but there are a few places with a couple of decent bumps. Since I've had the car (sept of last year) I have hit 3 different bumps (imagine transition to bridge that is kinda sharp) and I get a huge bang from the front almost like suspension is bottoming out or something. Jars my ****ing teeth. Car is bone stock. Is this normal or wtf?

The same happened to me a few weeks back, getting on the highway leaving Woodward after a cruise. I thought I blew a tire or something broke it was so loud.

I was going down a very familiar back road the other day and unbeknownst to me they had cut big strips out of it and filled it with stone, which had settled. I hit the first one at about 60. I though all the plastic in the interior was going to shatter lol.

ok good lol. I was like, "either this suspension is firm as **** or I just broke a strut into the engine compartment"

I get it when going over those parking bumps a faster than 10mph. Sounds like the force of the bump unsettles the suspension and I get a clunking sound on both front wheels. My guess is the sound is coming from the strut top hitting the strut towers on the way down. Make sense that it could be from the shocks hitting the end of their extension.

Never experienced that in other cars but assumed it was because this car's suspension is made for racing and not driving around parking lots.

No it's completely normal. I avoid bumps even if they look small. Just yesterday I hit a small wash in a small intersection faster than I should have and bang went the bottom of the car. I nearly cursed out the neighborhood I was in lol.
