I mounted an Elite Engineering dual port catch can. The car had a previously installed Rotate Fab with sound tube delete. The install was made possible by Alpha1Le who made up the brackets. Perfectly engineered with spacers and bracket supplied. The mount that Elite Engineering failed to engineer. I also enjoyed for fishing for a half hour when I dropped a screw driver in the engine bay.

At wide open throttle, it ensure that oil vapor is sucked into the catch can.

Installed the Mamo Ported Throttle Body!
The wiring harness removal took the longest to disconnect!!

Also while there, removed the sound tube, fortunately I had some plugs laying around and was able to plug the port on the OEM intake tube and the hold in the firewall.

Sorry, didn't think of taking any pics, but the drive was so nice, and the sound was so much better!

I'll have to upgrade my sound system in the future to AWE 7.1 Surround!

I installed the Mishimoto catch can I purchased from a member on this forum. I also got around to installing the wicker bill from ZL1 Addons, both items went on easily. Have to admit I was a lot nervous about drilling into the spoiler ... done it before just still makes me nervous... BTW excuse the car being dirty it is going to be a rainy Monday and I dont want to waste the effort lol.

I had some issues unscrewing the can so I left the one Allen screw off that is just under the strut brace. That way I can remove the other two to get a better grip. Otherwise I had to remove the brace bolts (again). If you’re not having any problems then disregard.

Looks good (wicker and all).

Had an LT5 throttle body installed by Jannetty Racing, with a retune.

The apples to apples comparison (as much as possible, same dyno, very similar weather, no other difference in the build) is +5 to 10 rwhp average and +4 rwtq across the rpm range, max gain was +14 rwhp at 6500, and the engine kept pulling strong to 6700 where the pulls ended.

Throttle responsiveness also improved, the car feels absolutely great and much more ready to roll in the first 25-30% of throttle input range, yet it's still easy to manage, no twitching or jerkiness.

Sweet

EDIT: before I forget, I was also able to do an exact max highway mpg comparison between the factory setup with AFM enabled and the tuned, ie no AFM+supercharged setup just prior to the TB install. I did 31.4 mpg before and 28.7 mpg after on the same route, similar weather (it was a bit colder today, though), so it seems AFM was good for ~9% in fuel economy, at least in my case. Kinda makes it clear why this feature had to be included.

Applied red vinyl to my rear black bow tie. I left a black outline between the red and chrome to give it a 3 dimensional look. Came out pretty good! Now to do the front.
