HPE Bumper Ports

Gents, when we designed the HEX Vents back in early 2011 we also began designing a set of front bumper ports to compliment them. We put the development of the ports on hold when we found that a bumper port offering was coming from another company. I'm trying to decide now whether to cancel the project or move forward.

With so many people switching to the ZL1 front end, other bumpers and ports, I'm not sure there's room for another offering. Which brings me to the point of this thread, to get your input on the design and whether it's something you'd be interested in.

Here is a link to the design we submitted for provisional patenting (http://www.3dvia.com/models/A7001C9DAF8193A5). You'll need to add the 3D plugin as instructed to view the model. You can press and hold your mouse and move it to rotate the model.

The most recent design is very similar except it includes fastening features and a few simple cosmetic changes. Note, the three holes on the one side will contain LED light bulbs.

I know it's difficult to get a feel for these when it's only one side and not rendered in a bumper. We may have our modeler drop them into a 3D Camaro model if I decide to move forward.

I look forward to your thoughts and feedback.

Steve

By the looks of them, they could go in either v6 or v8.

Depending on how much you guys charge for these I could see them being pretty popular.

Seriously. You undercut the "other guys" and you'll make a killing for sure.

I Like them. Not sure about the LEDs being on the outside though.
