Opening snout on intake manifold
Hey guys, I was wondering, has anyone opened up the intake snout to extend past the o ring seal? If so, how did you do it? I really want to open mine up for to get as much air as possible with a 95mm tb. The adapter brings it down to 93mm, so that's what I'm trying to make my opening. Right now I have it at 90mm, pretty much all I can get without removing the o ring gasket permanently. I'd rather keep the stock ported intake and get this to work than go to msd, as I don't have heads or a cam. Theres gotta be someone else out there that has done the same.

You have to give up the o-ring and get a paper gasket and cut to fit.

Yah, I noticed that too, the little "meat" around the intake isnt very much, I'm sure a double gasket or silicone will help with that. I'm really nervous to do this, and would really like for someone to speak up if they have hands in experience with this. I dont want to mess anything up, also, if you can think of any other issues or problems that I could figure out before I attempt it would be greatly appreciated. I would love to bolt it up without the adapter so I'm not bottle necking myself, but I feel there is alot of room for error, boring out the bolt holes, as it would be difficult to center.
