What's your question about the inner side? The whole part is kind of an inverted "V". The bottom is completely open; not sure why but that kind of surprised me. But you can't see it unless you're laying underneath the car. The inner side has holes for mounting, IIRC

Thanks guys. Trying to figure out if I can get away with just 2 sided tape and maybe a clip from the bottom as a fail safe. I have the black heavy duty 3m tape
