It's pretty interesting because these are the two cars I'm debating between.

Buy American, Americans work.

There is no other choice.

While I respect your patriotism, overall build quality is far more important to me. I've owned a number of corvettes in the past and up until the C7 came about, they have left a lot to be desired in comparison to BMW and Mercedes.

Hi just to add to the mix, I too value build quality a lot. I have a BMW (740i Sport) and Merc (S550 AMG) and just got a C7. Its really up to par in quality, I am very pleased with my purchase. Yes time will tell more but from what I can tell I have more features and everything is very precise not old chevy.

Take this from someone who left chevy for a M3. they are cool cars, they are more rare on the road also. they focus on luxury, and sports. I like them better in fact.

BUT

The problem is that Europe just started downsizing there engines, adding turbos. the stingray has a killer Big V8, nice looks, and the interior a step up. I am not saying its a 5 series interior, but its much better than the C6.

If I didn't like the C7 so much I would have seriously considered the new F82/F80 series such as the M4 or this M3 I looked at before...

M vs corvette

Hi just throwing my thoughts out there. I recently just got the new 2015 vette traded my 2011 M3 in on it. I loved that M as I got it while I was stationed in Germany and drove on the autobahn. to me the vette is a lot more fun to drive than the M3 the M is quick though.
