Vinyl Wrapping

There is more to come, It's really hard to tell but the wrap is 3M White Carbon Fiber. I plan on doing the vent covers, dash and door panel trims, steering wheel trim and the gauge trim. My first time wrapping.

Personally I like this, I have blue LED's in the footwells and the cabin along with trunk and when they light up the white turns to blue along with it. So there is a blue shade to it when the lights are on plus it just brightens up the dull interior a little.

looks really good! i started with the door panels. then i went to try on that peice and tried cutting out all the holes and kinda messed it up. did u trace it out first and then cut the holes out? or put it on and try to cut around all the buttons and shifter boot?

I started in the middle and the vent bezels because they were smooth plastic. My door and dash trim is the textured plastic and not fabric so I have to see if it will stick at all.

I got all the Vinyl on the entire thing first, then used a hair dry..ahem* I mean heat gun* :P to heat up the vinyl around the buttons so that they would get a snug fit so i could see all the channels. once I did that i cut as close as i could to the buttons so when the vinyl fell into the channel it would have enough to not see the end. The traction control button came out but the charger i couldnt figure out. the shifter boot was very easy, just cut it out and gave enough room to wrap around under.

So the Vinyl Wrapping didn't turn out as good as I had hoped on the Gauge Bezel. I was wondering. Does automotive paint have the Gloss Finish to it if I buy it from auto zone? the ones that come in the spray can.

Along with the Vinyl I decided to add foot-well lighting and Dome and trunk LED lighting that were blue. I Took the picture this morning but I will add pictures at night for better quality. I bought the kit for Gen5DIY and the 2 blue LED lights. My only problem is that when i contacted Gen5DIY i asked if the foot-wells and LED's for the dome were going to be the same color, to which i got a positive response. After the install, the foot-wells are dark blue and the dome is very light ice blue. I wish they were a bit closer in color but looking at it now it kind of looks good with the contrast from upper and lower.

Thanks! This is the main reason why I went with the white accent, the lights really make it pop, the gauge bezel isn't in yet and the doors aren't done yet, more pictures to come.
