tow hook install HELP!!!

the owners manual is useless. On a 2021 SS 1LE front grill, I can see the cut out on the grill but there are no clips to remove the piece to access the tow hook. there are no videos either. Has anyone done it?
thanks in advance.

Yeah I was looking at mine and the hook won’t fit through the grill . No cut out on mine nor does a section pop out. Looks like you have to cut a grill fin out to make it work?

There should be a small slot type area you can insert a flat head and pry down to pop it out. At least that works on my 2017. I did not pull by hand that hard because I thought I would break it. When I found the spot it popped right out with the flat head.

Found it. You wouldn’t even know it was there. Now for a decent looking tow hook. The one Chevy gives you belongs on a battleship

I used a plastic trim tool to pry the cover out. I cut it a bit so that I could leave a tow hook in all the time since this is a track toy.

It was a little tricky to remove. Hopefully, this pic helps. I used a Dremel with a sanding drum to make room for the tow hook.

#3702 here as of this weekend.

The ZL1addons tow hook is nice. https://zl1addons.com/collections/camaro-tow-hooks

I have the GT4 hook on mine.

It has a shaft that goes into the OEM location. The hook goes on/off with a 10mm hex. So you can leave the grille cover on when the hook is off.
