My Brother is telling me Mcnair was known to suffer from Depression.
I've never heard that much about the man after his football career but sounds like it was either a murder/suicide or love triangle gone bad!

Such a shame! This is sad and terrible loss for his family friends and fans! I am big fan of Mcnair loved watching Air Mcnair when he was Tenn. Titan! Him and hid family are in my prayers tonight! Such horrible news on a wonderful holiday 4th of July!

Looks like a murder suicide to me. One shot to the side of the head of the girl and four to McNair? Sounds like maybe he told her he was breaking it off with her and she lost it?

yeah it was a murder/suicide. The reports have come out that the girl had just purchased a gun a week earlier. Police aren't looking for any other suspects and have pretty much all but said that she killed him and then herself.
