Do I have any leeway with my tire height??

Hey there!

I have a 2017 RS with the 20" wheels. I know the size I should be putting on it is 245/40/20, but I mistakenly bought a set of 245/45/20 instead.

Would the slightly taller tire be alright to throw on, or would I be rubbing at all with those?

Mainly its going to affect your speedo and it will read slower then your actually going and will hurt your performance somewhat as the car is tuned from the factory with diameter in their calculations. Speedo will probably be 1-2 mph slower then with the stock tires. Good thing is you won't put as many miles on your car as you are actually driving.
