Sorry to hear about your valve issue. I had a 7 way bypass 21 years ago this December and have had no issues. Yep, chainsaw approach. I have friend who just had his aortic valve replaced and they did it similar to stent insertion and did not open his chest. Apparently it's fairly new in past 5-7 yrs and so far only performed on aortic valve. I would assume you're in good health so recover should be pretty quick. Follow Drs orders and walk, walk, walk after surgery. Good luck.

Thanks, yes it is unfortunate that I do not qualify for the new, fancy, through the groin valve replacement. Been down that path and because of my birth defect on my heart, bicuspid, I don't get the fancy replacement. I am looking forward the eventual procedure and recovering. It was not a surprise, as my dr's have been watching my condition for the past 12 years. It's much easier, I think, to deal with since I knew it was coming and not a shock and emergency procedure. but overall...doing okay in life and moving along!! I love this forum and the people that post here.!

True. I've only taken 1 day of vacation and my 2 floating holidays this year.

TPBM misses regular life.

So much so, it’s made me rethink retiring in April.

TPBM has turned into a slug.

False, that's my 'play ground' and way to relieve stress. I just piss everyone off and I am fully entertained by how good I am at it.

I find myself on it too much, but don't like how it sucks you in when you're in. If it wasn't for family interaction and Camaro/car show information I'd delete it right now.

TPBM prefers Instagram for their social media.

False. Don’t have any social media accounts. Visit a couple car forums and that is about it.

TPBM wants a “not a flame thrower “

TRUE/FALSE ?? don't know how to answer as I have no idea what you are refering to.

TPBM is liking that they got some rain, but hate the fact that it will make the grass grow twice as fast!

The Boring Company “not a flame thrower “. Elon Musk owns the company and they sold “not a flame thrower “ flame throwers to raise money.

False. Medical condition so I don't wear one. So far I've been fine.

TPBM just finished an 18 hour shift at work.

false but it feels like it.

TPBM has kids and the schools are confused about opening up in your area.
