Im a little confused!!!! Heres what i got... Camarotracking.com told me a few days go that my camaro was available to ship on 10/29/09 by railroad... i never got a train # or updates for a few days. Then 2 days ago i got an update from them saying status was on hold and shipped by truck. I talked to a dealership and he said that it probably meant that it was off the train and that its on its way to my dealership in a few days. Do they ship by truck from the factory or only train then truck. I dont wanna get my hopes up!! lol

Well for me it was CSX to Illinois like a lot of other West coast and South Western states so it was obvious that after the CSX system said " Delivered to customer at interchange" I figured (after reading the railroad tracking thread) that my carrier had been switched due to the regional routes that each carrier is limited to....CSX doesn't go past a certain point to the west--the obvious choice to start my new trace was Union Pacific Since I'm in California---these companies share the shipping business by region they tranfser once you get to their regional limits---that's why a lot of folks end up checking BNSF and the other southern rail carriers after CSX say delivered to customer at interchange as well---look up CSX online and take a peek at their railway map that will give you an idea--some folks will stay with CSX to the end because it's in CSX's railway territory...sorry for the long winded explination

Rail Info,
Woo Hoo,
Departed Flatonia Tx over an hour ago... should be about 50 miles to go... maybe if there are enough of them to fill a truck, my car will be at the dealer tomorrow... It ought to be in Kirby Texas by 8:00 pm...It seems to have averaged about 22-25 mph today... Congrats to all those with Dealer calls... Enjoy the rides...
