EV Battery Plant canceled in Va.

Ford forced to cancel plan to build new battery plant in rural Va. by Virginia Governor. All was on track to go smoothly until it was later found that the plant would NOT be run by Ford....it was to be run by...CHINA! The Va. Governor shut it down. Thank you Governor Younkin for not selling out!

Why don't they just move the plant to some stateside land owned by CHY-NA? Big Guy gets his 10%, Greenies get to save the world and anyone opposed obviously "hates America"

That’s OK, Envision is already building 3 in the US.

- Smyrna, TN
- Florence, SC
- Bowling Green, KY

Dumb move by VA Governor, and good news for Envision. Each facility costs ~$1B to build and employs around 2,000 workers with base salaries @ $40hr. That’s $160M in consumer buying power coming to a town near you……..or not. Maybe the Carrier facility in Ohio will re-open as promised? LOL Kool-aid drinkers.
