Very NICE Vtor! I actually really like the driveway out front. I don't think my snow shovel or snow blower would like it though.

Hey Chutzpah,
I’m using a AQUATICLIFE Deionized Spot-Free Car Rinse Unit from Amazon.
I’m limiting the water flow through the filter so it works but not too much that causes issues with the power washer.
It’s based on obsessed garage power washer setup, I just didn’t want to spend 1000+ on it. Think I was close to 350 and using my existing power washer.
And this is version 2, some reason my
PVC version just leaked, v2 uses Pex pipe.

I started using waterless car wash products. Really easy and good results.

Ours are examples of garages that are function over form (3 car attached, 3.5 car detached).
The ceiling in the detached garage is about 16 feet high to accommodate a 4 post lift (which I would love to have).
It is on my bucket list to install nice flooring in the attached garage like the beautiful examples that some of the other posts have shown.
But the detached garage is more of a workshop so a nice floor like that wouldn't survive for long there.
We built the detached garage ourselves with only the steel framing, shingles and concrete being contracted out.
The air compressor and noisier/dirtier power tools live in the detached garage.
Air and power lines run underground to the attached garage to keep most of the noise and dirt away.
100% LED lighting in both garages, which is both bright and efficient.

You ruined replies looking at our garages with your pics!

My favorite pic is the Firebird. That is an LS1 version? One of my favorite cars that I have owned is a '97 M6 black WS6. If that Bird was a black M6 LS1 I might still have it.

A lot of beautiful garages here.
BTW, love the utility sink in the garage Joshinator99.
They come in handy for sure.
I have a perfect spot with all the necessary plumbing in our attached garage.
But then I'd have to find another place for a fairly large work bench and a couple of tool boxes.
Besides, the laundry room sink is just inside the doorway.
So I haven't installed one (although my wife would probably greatly appreciate it).

Decorations seem to appear from thin air with the passage of time, don't worry.
They will expand to fill the walls before you know it...

Thanks DIYguy! It didn’t take long to realize it would be so much handier to have a place to wash up after working on my car. We have a full bathroom upstairs over the garage so since water and plumbing were already out there, it was a no brainer to add the utility sink.

You betcha.
We have only had one house that had a sink in the garage (because the washer and dryer were there too), and it was great to prevent most dirt and grime from entering the house.
I suppose that one of these days I should just install one and be done with it.

The rest of your garage looks very nice, BTW.

There's some impressive builds show in this thread, this is far more function over form. One day it will get cleaned up... in mean time, one camaro and half dozen bicycles.
Nice! Love the lift, How high is your ceiling?

Ceiling @ 10ft, 3 or 4" taller over the lift area.
