I use Roav dash cam, i don't know which specific model. But it really comes down to WHY? what are your intentions for it. For me, i wanted to cover my ass if i get in a accident. so i made sure i had one that has the time/date stamp in the captured image for legal uses. I also had a friend that recommended it to me and liked it.
here is the camera in action from a track day i did not too long ago: https://youtu.be/6cie6JE3E-o

There are a lot of good ones out there. Blackvue is probably one of the more popular but pricey.

I considered getting one a while ago, you need to ask yourself why like stated before, and also realize that in certain situations the camera can be seized and used against you.
I think it is safe to assume most of us have a heavy foot and can land you in a hairy situation if not careful. However, I would recommend any brand that has at least 1080p footage preferably 60fps. You will want automatic collision detection with a time stamp enabled. Also, they make ones that send you footage to your phone. I'm pretty well versed in digital cameras and most of the technology is the same unless you're spending an absurd amount of money. Find good reviews and the specs stated above and you should be good.
