Need some tech help
I am a New but used first time owner of my 2011 V6 LT RS Camaro Black on Black . I come here and try and read what I can for what I need. I don't have much info to share with all of you, other then what I am learning from my car and the things that I think she needs.
First. I have been waiting 5 months for my Passenger Air bag presents pad for the seat! Anyone have a good one they are willing to sell? I can't get my car inspected next time I go in. So any help with selling me one or if there's a company that may have one? Next. I would like to know what size wheels I can get away with w/o mods? I have 8/20 Front -9/20 Rear. I would like to see if I can get away with 10/21 Front 11/21 Rear and there be no issues. If at all possible? 3rd. I am rebuilding my Rear cross-member and replacing everything. Should I stay with GM Parts or shold I buy something else that collectively most of you have done? Thank you all for any help. Maromark Attached Images |

Fairly certain the body of the v6 is the same as the SS except for the front bumper. I have a 20x10 on all 4 corners of the car running a 275 width tire on the front and back, no rubbing. I wouldn't imagine the stock rear cross member to be a problem but BMR is usually a safe bet in terms of a brand.
someone correct me if I'm wrong. Enjoy the car.

I was hoping to put 10x20 in the front and 11x20 in the rear. I'm just not good with tire sizes. Thank you for your reply Nate2SS.

I am not sure I could get away with 10x21 11x21? Anyone have any thoughts?

A 21” wheel will slow your vehicle down compared to a smaller size. Fitting that size will depend on how large your sidewall will be. An 11” wide should fit in the rear of the car, honestly there’s no real need for that width as far as I’m aware. I’m running a cammed ls3 making 450 to the wheel and don’t even spin my 275 rears unless I dump the clutch or it’s wet out. You need to take this all into consideration because wheel and tire size can impact a lot of things including overall cost of the job. Also, not running a square set up you will not be able to rotate tires which depending on your driving habits, tires can get expensive. I have z28 replicas on it, this is how mine looks.

FYI
21" wheels were an option on the 2011 Camaros. The 5th gen ZL1 comes with 10x20 fronts and 11x20 rear wheels. As far as the 21" wheels, IIRC, tires in that size were more expensive and not all that popular. Might want to check on the tires available before opting for the 21". |

10x20 front and 11x20 rear. Factory ZL1 wheels. 285/35 front and 305/35 on the rear. all factory sizes with no problems. the only problem is I needed all weather tires as I live in NJ. the summer performance tires just don't work in cold weather. BF Goodrich is the ONLY company that makes them in 305/35
