Front speakers?

Hi there,
Today while driving i noticed the speakers seemed quiet so I stopped and listened to the front door speakers and noticed that there was no vocals coming out of them only slight slight bass and bacground noise. These are the bose upgraded speakers on my ‘16 camaro. I have vocals coming out of the tweeters up on the windshield but not the door. Is this normal?! Usually with my experience with audio systems in my other cars vocals come out of the door and tweeters. Please let me know.

Thanks!

I think that might be normal. The door speakers are 6x9 and I think Bose set them up to be more of a subwoofer than anything.

Do you know their full range? I want to tap into these for an LoC to add a subwoofer. I was hoping they would receive a signal down to 30hz.

we've discussed this , may be hard to find. would not recommend tapping into the dash speakers for bass. If you go this route (which I do not recommend) , tap the door speakers and use the sub - thump

I'm in the processes of installing and am going to use a JL fix. I'll post a pic of the response of each channel once I get to that point. Note that I have a 2019 LT3 convertible with Bose for comparison. I'm waiting on a harness I ordered.

Yeah message me when you get that. I'd like to see how that works out. I'll have a 3LT with Bose so I'm in the same boat.

Can you not use the amp pro most50 decoder? Or does it only work on the Bose?

sadly tecboy is correct. I had to scramble to adjust my plan. The JL Fix is the best option I could come up with. Hopefully it works out.
