Wind screen on Convertibles
If you have a Convertible Camaro, have you tried the windscreen that goes behind the front seats. I know some of the older models have a hard cover you can get that goes over the rear seats. But nothing for the newer models like 2019 and up. The pictures that I've seen look like it's kind of mickey moused and leans forward, not straight up and down. Spring is coming someday and I'm on the fence if it works at all.

I have a 2019 vert and the factory windscreen and it does work. There are other windscreens you can get as well. There is a thread on this in the convertible section. The misses feels the windscreen helps immensely with her hair not blowing around with the windscreen and conversation is a lot better as well.

The factory screen is actually very good quality and my experience is that it sits perfectly vertical when up and snaps right into place. The effect is also very noticeable when up. It's close enough that you reach behind you while driving and drop it or pull it up and immediately notice the difference. I would recommend it.

I have an (1100) order for a vert and I was on the fence too. I ended up going for the screen.
It was a youtube video of a woman driving with the windscreen that eventually sold me on it, because my wife has similar hair and the youtuber's hair was not blowing around at all. Looked like barely any wind. |

I just ordered on today (ShopChevyParts.com $400) after watching one of Ember's videos on his Hot Camaro channel on YouTube last night. In the video he's driving at 50mph or so and you can hear some wind buffetting his mic, etc. He reaches back, pulls the windscreen up and the buffetting stops immediately. I had already been planning to buy one to help with my wife's hair, but that video certainly helped remind me to pull the trigger with spring getting closer.
Apparently, Ember and I have similar tastes because I also just ordered the Sho-and-stow license plate holder and the mods4cars 1-touch covertible controller. He has a great video showing how easy that controller install is.

I have the Chevy one as well and it's well worth it! Put the front windows up and the missus is super happy too! Friends tell me they can't tell I'm in a vert when talking via the bluetooth phone handsfree too, even at highway speed.

I had the CAMARO windscreen - it was freaking awesome! Sold to a member here once my car was gone.
It was one of my first mods and would be if I got another Camaro.

The OEM windscreen is very good quality and works very well. During one of my drives last fall, the temperature dropped to the mid 40's on the way home. With the screen in place, I put the windows up and my shivering wife said "WOW, what a difference". Highly recommend the windscreen.

I had a 17 vert and traded that for a 22 vert and the same windscreen works in the 22 it’s the OEM model and works great. I went with the mesh over solid since the mesh folds up and fits in the trunk or backseat easy

It also keeps things in the back seat "more hidden" and from blowing around
