My car says it wants to get skinnier!

Not sure what the next steps would be to drop even more weight. One thing is for sure every pound lost from here on out will be more costly. Still running stock suitcase Muffler which weighs 35 lb but I'm sure aftermarket mufflers aren't that much lighter. Does anybody know the weight of the front fenders how about cars? Looking for ideas. Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what the front fenders weight but if you swap to the CF ones I wouldn't expect more than a few pounds of savings, but that and a CF hood & trunk would probably be the next logical step.

Or taking out stuff like A/C condenser and other "unnecessary hardware".

Yeah last time at track there was a car that went "off track" and we had to come into "pit in" and AC was wonderful to have!

I know rear decklid is heavy but plans are for APR carbon wing and not sure about all that downforce on CF lid.

Two piece rear rotors are most likely the next step. I know RB makes them but i thought another company just came out with a set too. Can't remember their name.

I would assume the CF trunk would be better than the stock trunk lid for the big wang... AC makes good stuff should be plenty stout to withstand the downforce. I know Russ with his ST2 prepped Z/28 out west has every possible AC part on that car including their trunk (5th gen of course) and he runs a much bigger wing than the GTC-300 and doesn't have any issues. My point, CF trunk should be fine with the APR wing.

Yeah plus can reinforce with some aluminum plates at mounting point on the underside of the trunk lid.

maybe 25-30.
so what else is there? a TI Xpipe and mufflers? Lower center of gravity so would rather find something unsrpung and higher up.

just dreaming on this but...Ceramic rotors, Alcon or equivalent caliper, carbon hood, fenders, decklid, delete AC. TI exhaust, lexan rear window...

Pricey! Maybe 175lbs? No it's not going to happen but fun to think about it

Have you seen Russ Car? that wing is not connected to the trunk lid, its connected to the sub frame.
