I guess it's me - I think it's ugly.

Not trying to turn this thread into a downer either.

I think the mailslot on these is horrible, I hate the old "SS" logo on all 5th gens and the red stripe on the rims clash with all the orange (but admit that it ties in w/the rear markers and tails).

Just my 2¢, no offense intended

I love the ZL hood.

Filling the mailslot the "proper" way would be way too costly. pulling the nose off, do all the work to fill it properly (you will always see it without hours of work), repaint the whole nose, and put it back on.

This was done at SLP. It takes a lot more work and time to fill it out completely. It would probably slow down the delivery process of SLP cars a lot.

Now that the CAN $ is at par alot of canucks should jump on this car, way less than I paid for my SS and the supercharger and upgrades last fall.

I think that the only way a car can be imported into Canada from a US dealer is it has to be used and have 7500 miles?

I hope that ZL757 was a much better example than the ZL427 that my local Chevy dealer had. I looked at the car when it came in and it had quite a few flaws like:

-the hood wasn't lined on the driver's side evenly.
-the striping on the rear deck looked like there was some specks of sand in the finish.
-one of the wheels' silver finish had a couple bad areas where it was painted or powder coated.

^ all of these flaws would be completely unacceptable for something that's suppose to be a higher end car.

joe and i had all are stuff fixed before we accepted our cars, they till have a couple of things to do and gm is has been very helpful in complying!!

They should be painted

Also the stripes are in hugger orange, and thats how I'm painting my car right now
