Magnuson COG Over Drive Question

I am upgrading to a COG Over Drive setup for my Magnuson SC.

I am currently running a 3.4 inch pulley with the JRE tensioner with no slippage holding at 6.8 lbs of boost, headers, running at 11.6 commanded with FIC850 injectors.

After I go to the COG OD I was planning on going to an 3.8 inc pulley, .640 lift camshaft, GM heads with upgraded exhaust valves, springs, seals, retainers, and to LS9 head gaskets.

I was wondering what boost levels I would be running at that point, and what is safe with the stock rods, pistons, and block.

Or, would I be better off to build another bottom end at that point?
Please let me know your thoughts!

But if you going back higher on front pulley then its probably defeating the purpose

Thank you for your responses

I have a 3.8, 3.6, and a 3.4. I could use any of them. I just wasn't sure what a safe boost level would be with my setup.

If I am understanding things correctly...

The COG OD will increase my boost levels 3 lbs.
That would put me at 9.8 lbs if I kept the same pulley..
The cam would drop me back down 1 lbs or so..

So, with the 3.4 pulley, I would be at 8.8 lbs?

Is that a pretty close estimate, or would the cam drop if more then that?

Awesome! One more question

On a stock bottom end, what is considered safe boost levels, with upgraded head gaskets?

Weekend driver.. not daily..

Gotcha

I keep mine around 11.6 commanded at WOT, 11.5 the richest, leanest I have gone is 11.7. I am within 1% or less difference at WOT. Zero knock.

I know some guys run their's at 12 with an SC.. not worth it in my mind..

I currently have it shift around 6200. I know that will change with the cam.

Then the tuning fun begins again! Uggggg...

Thanks for such speedy responses!

HOLLY CRAP!

How much RWHP do you have? What do you run for you command AF?

Should I just build a bottom end?

850, forge is good, but took it back apart to port the lower manifold and raise compression
