Was the Camaro your first choice?
Or did you have to settle for a Camaro? Lol, it's still not a bad compromise.

I didn't settle for ANYTHING, I have been a "Camaro Girl" since my first one in 1976.

First choice from the moment it was revealed. The wait for it to come out was killing me.

If I have to be 100% honest, although I'm an old school muscle car guy at heart, I was VERY tempted by the M3.

Oddly enough, no. I was dead set on 4 doors and AWD. Ended with a coupe and RWD. Started looking at the Jeep SRT8 and H2. Decided a SUV would cost too much in the long run. Looked at the STI and A4. Just out of fun I decided to check the used inventory of a local dealership, saw a 1SS for $31 and that's when it shit got real.

I was originally looking at suv's.
then I test drove the mustang convertible(which I did not like very much..too much cowl shake for my liking) then I test drove my vert and next thing you know its on my driveway.(it also helped that I used to own a Z28 in my youthful days) but honestly I prefered the driving characteristics of the 5th gen. better than the mustang. |

I did not settle. I didn't need another car, I wanted this car and then I just had to have this car.

Same here, when it was finally released to dealerships they were raping peoples wallets that wanted the first ones.I waited 6 mos. to get my first one and some could not believe I traded a 335i for a Chevy. Its all in what trips your trigger.
