ok I will bite, I have had mine into 140 before by friend started squeeling to slow down. the car was only around 5000 rpms and was still pulling hard so I believe 155 157 would easily be attained. there was a guy that posted where he had actually outran a police aircraft in his v6 and did not get a ticket because they lost sight of the car. i dont think the 19" tires will get you there though. i think only 20" equipped cars come stock set up to run the higher speeds but a tune can fix that on any v6 but voids the warranty apparently.

dude...formula is right, but your units are wrong. torque units as used in this formula are in FOOT-LBS not INCH-LBS

No offense, but you shouldn't believe every outlandish thing you hear on a public car forum...

I believe this is not entirely correct...if this is referring to inch pounds...

Torque (foot pounds) X RPM =HP
5252

Is the correct formula...

I've drivin both and the v-8 definitely has more oomph and straight speed . But , in all honesty the handling on the v-6 seems better, quicker, and more fine tuned.
