Wheels size vs tires size

Having the mrr 228, z28 replicas 10'' in front and 11'' in the rear, can i use 275 in front instead of 285's combined with 305's instead of 315 ones in the rear? I dont want that tires look out of the fender or rear panel.

275 in the front works perfect as far as overall tire height for the 305 compared to the 275 I could do a little google searching for a tire size calculator to compare.

I always find the 275 in front with 315 at rear. The 275/40/20 with 305/35/20 can be matched without probs? The zl1 uses 285/305 combo, but think that the 285 is lower than the 275 plus wider, may go out of the fender. Some opinions here?

I believe as long as your less than an inch difference in overall diameter you should be good
