LOUDEST exhaust for L99 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, I'm new here. But I was wondering what the LOUDEST possible exhaust I can get for my stock L99. I was looking at the ARH exhaust system but it doesn't seem THAT loud. Then again, I'm only basing it on the videos. I would be replacing the whole exhaust including the headers.

So what's the loudest exhaust available(can be different brands pieced together) for the L99?

I have an MBRP catback system and that seems to be pretty loud.

I'm pretty sure all long tubes will be around the same volume.

loudest headers are long tubes without cats.

only problem of running no cats is:
it's illegal
it smells bad
really requires a tune

as far as loudest exhaust:
Corsa or straight pipe like SLP Loudmouth I or Magnaflow axle back competition series

Alright, I'll be going with the SLP loudmouth I. But I'm not sure if I should get the ARH headers or the SLP headers.

Slightly. But I think the SLP longtubes with the SLP Loudmouth I will be my choice. part numbers 30213 and 31211

I don't know. It shouldn't be too bad since it's a full exhaust. Not like it's open headers. And the automatic should keep it in lower RPMS so that should cut down on the sound.

It isn't illegal... just frowned upon... like masterbating on an airplane

Personal preferance on the smell.. I happen to like it

Doesn't require a tune, just helps
