The value in your car is Sentimental Value.

16 years is a long time. You are quite attached.
I had a '77 T/A W72 w/ws6 for a few years. Loved it....but it had to go. I was sad.
I had a '87 Formula w/L98 350cu.in. 5spd. Loved it....but it had to go. I was sad.

Have the '16 SS now for 3 years. I love it and when I see an old T/A on the road I say to my self. "How did I ever think that was an awesome car"

I thought they handled great - They didn't
I thought they had awesome power - They didn't
I thought they looked like a muscle car - They didn't

Take your T/A for a nice long road trip and put it out to pasture. A nice '18 or '19 LT1 1LE will make you soon forget her.

keep the ta. you can’t sling a dead cat around here without hitting a 5/6g camaro. however, you might see a car like yours a few times a year. sentimental value > actual value. ask anyone who has worked on their own stuff.
