Had XPEL PPF installed on the front facia, the front lip, the headlights and the part of the front fenders closest to the front facia. I have the same set up on my 1LE and it has done a great job of protecting the front of the car. I wanted to get this done before spring gets here. I had intended to do it in November, but was either too busy or couldn't get an appointment when it was convenient for me.

What did that run ya for price? Looking at getting mine done in the spring. Car is in storage until then

It was basically a grand for all of it. Well worth the cost in my opinion though.

That is reasonable. I have been shopping around for quotes. May have to just drive the car further south to people that will do it for a reasonable price. I have 2 guys that are reliable and have done friends stuff for around 1500 for what you mentioned. Most here are 1800-2500. Full front end, with hood and full fenders, mirror caps, skirts, rear part in front of rear tire, was quoted 3500-4000 for that. I just can't justify that much, i'll take my chances and get it painted in the future if I really have to

Yeah $1,500 plus sounds like quite a bit for what I had done. I didn't do the mirror caps on my car since I have covers on them. I also didn't do the hood. The hood would have been another $800. The front facia on the Camaro comes up high enough that the hood is less likely to get rock chips. I have ACS rock guards too, so I didn't have the fenders or the side skirts wrapped.

Over the weekend I went to visit a friend of mine in a nearby town who recently purchased a Mustang Dark Horse. It actually looks larger than the ZL1. Both cars are white so kind of cool seeing them side by side. The Dark Horse is very expensive for what it is though.

I've always wondered what the Mustang could have been if they stayed with pushrods

The Dark Horse is more an SS 1LE competitor, and way overpriced for what it is. Cool photos though.

Very true. Unfortunately the Dark Horse is priced more like a ZL1 than a 1LE.

Installed an LSA Conversion LT4 supercharger reservoir upgrade kit (version 2) and a BMR Suspension strut tower brace.

The supercharger reservoir adds extra coolant capacity to the system and makes it easier to add coolant and bleed air out of the system. It also looks OEM since it uses a GM coolant reservoir. Its the first kit of this type I've seen that actually looks like it came on the car.

The BMR Suspension strut bar is well made and is one of the few Gen6 Camaro strut bars I've seen that will fit over the factory supercharger. It's not cheap, but is a quality piece.

Two pretty good mods. Here are a few pictures.

My two Zs. Different manufacturers and 20 years difference in ages, but nonetheless both Zs.

I've been trying to decide whether I wanted to add a cold air intake. I was close to purchasing a Rotofab intake, but after doing more research I decided on a Green Filter in the stock airbox. I found comments/videos from several people who track their ZL1s who were of the opinion that the Rotofab intake was subject to heatsoak, especially when the ambient temperature is above 80 degrees (which it is here for about half the year). The Green Filter in the stock airbox on the other hand tended to produce lower intake temperatures (IATs).

As someone who has tracked IATs with my ScanGuage for years I didn't want an intake that would increase IATs. Even though the Rotofab seals to the hood, it isn't completely sealed from the engine bay like the stock airbox is. And the partial box of the Rotofab is metal which tends to hold heat more than plastic does.
