---SNEAK PEAK--- LG Motorsports new World Challenge Camaro hood

Hey guys,

You are getting a very special look at our new Carbon hood, the LG5 W.C. This has 4 pairs of huge vent openings for the ultimate in cooling and downforce for your Camaro!

This has already been approved for use in competition for SCCA World Challenge events. We will have a full bolt on unit using all of your stock hardware as well as a pin on hinged version for SCCA use.

For those wanting a pin on style race hood.....here is a look at one of the first.

This hood sells for $1595, and is in pur carbon fiber. It will still retain a hood hinge assembly, but should not be used with the gas strut, and will require hood pins at the front to secure it. There is no place for the latch assembly or under hood liner.

MSRP
Carbon Pin on Race hood (no hood latch) $1595.95
Carbon Street hood $2495.95

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE FOR NEW LOWER COST CARBON STREET SERIES VERSION. MSRP $1595.95 (9-28-12)
Should have pricing tomorrow on these, but they are going to be much less than the all carbon hood you guys saw above.

Mostly Carbon fiber with some fiberglass mixed into the inner structure for lower cost.

What do you think?

How do you think this would look painted VR and with a set of white rallys painted on it?

Hey Hey....this is only the 2nd hood I've seen and immediately liked it (Nickey Stinger hood is the 1st). Is this our (non ZL1 owners) version of the ZL1 hood? I will keep my eyes open for the official announcement that these are ready to roll!

We are bringing this one (the first) to the Camaro5Fest so you all can see it in person.

We are building hoods for the racers in SCCA right now, and more street versions are coming right after this.

MSRP will be released here shortly.

If I didn't have a hood already I would be all over this!
