Fuel reading
Since I've owned the camaro the past few months every time I filled up the message display always read around 320 miles till empty, just filled up and put in the normal 16 - 17 gallons and miles till empty read 218. I turned the car off and restarted and it showed 218 still. What gives? I have filled up countless times and now it changed I'm confused.

That reading is based on your miles per gallon, so if you are driving at a rate of 25 mpg then you will get so and so many miles till the tank goes dry, but if you are going around at 14 mpg then you get MUCH MUCH less till the tank goes dry. I found this out as well, at first I thought someone was stealing gas from my car due to these things not having a lock on them - and since I actually caught someone trying to do it once haha.

Ok that makes sense, I just recently moved and I no longer have a 120 mile daily commute. It's all city driving now. Good news is I can go a whole week with out filling up now instead of 2 - 3 times a week.

Reset your MPG average. It will give you a more accurate measure of miles left till empty reflecting your current driving habits.

Wow - 120 mile commute! And I thought my 60 mile commute was long.

And its based on the way your current driving habit is. For instance, when I baby it and after I fill it up its says 350 miles to empty, but when I am gunning it and driving hard, its says 290 or 300
