Drunk Driver crashed into me on Friday the 13th
Hey guy's i dont know if this is the right place to post this but on Friday the 13 i was driving home from a night out with the buddy's i jump on a on ramp to head home i would say 500 ft onto the on ramp i got hit from the back as this happen my rear driver side tire deflated and i was sent side way's across 4 lane's of high way.
I wanna know if from the picture's the car is a total loss or not the back chassi buckled and the bushing is almsot 70% out of place and the rear light's section were it got hit is dented inward's and and down and smashed up pretty good and the actual back quarter panel is destroyed....im not sure if the IRS got impacted because my BMR sway bar's look perfect but who know's???The trunk is pushed up towards the roof of the car. hear are some pic's. |

Glad to hear you are OK! I don't think it would be totaled for that, but you never know about underlying damage. Hope it works out for you.

Wow, sorry to see that happen to you.
One question for the group: How does a rear end collision flatten the back tire? |

consider yourself lucky to be alive. (glad that you are). doesnt look totalled but unforseen damage to frame might have occurred. awesome they caught the person who did this. i try not to think about the ticking time bombs all around me when ever i drive after dark on the weekends and i am always on the look see to how people are driving around me.

Not a loss at all.....I've seen a pair that were worse than that and both came out great.
Make sure and ask your insurance agent about "diminished value" however.... Ivan |
