Need a second car - suggestions welcome!
So my Bravada is on the way out, and the wife and I are in the market for a new second car. Requirements are a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, under $25,000, and at least some semblance of fun to drive. Hatchback is super nice for practicality, but not 100% necessary.
So far, I'm considering: Sonic hatch Cruze hatch Impreza hatch

If that's the case, that's the new frontrunner. I wanted the diesel, but it didn't show available with the hatch.

sorry... I know nothing in that market.
My idea of a second car is a 4 door dually. Well actually my second car is a Corvette, 3rd car is a Corvette, 4th car is a 46 pickup, 5th car is the truck.

Sonic is a POS...
Civic Sport hatch or Si sedan...both have a 6 speed manual. Or maybe a Focus ST or Fiesta ST? GTI? Too bad there isn't a performance based Cruze. |

Any word on the Sonic or Cruze SS? I know that rumor's been going forever, but one can hope.

Why do you say the Sonic is a POS? I haven't started driving anything yet, so I don't know.

Fiat
Fiat 500 Abarth (2017). I will put a smile on your face every time you drive it. I drive it more than my 2016 Camaro SS. I love the car. My cost out the door was about $21,000 with tax, gap, and everything else. Go drive one.

Get an HHR, and still have about $22,000 in your pocket.
The cruze is nice, and can be improved with a tune to turn up the boost. |

Out of those 3 it would be the Impreza. I have owned a Cruze and it was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned that I ended up trading it in on a fusion. If we're me I'd look into a vw golf or a focus st also.
