**Updated** So I actually did it, powder coated my wheels copper
So I've had this thought for a while now and I pulled the trigger. I wanted something different that wasn't black, chrome or color matching. I saw this grey Audi R8 with copper wheels and thought that would look sick on my car. I thought for this to work, I would have to add a couple of other pieces in copper to tie it all together. I knew that I was widening my wheels over the winter and after would be the time to do this. I knew this was going to be a crap shoot if I liked it. My plan was I was going to have them painted matte black and leave the inside copper. Because I thought the copper was going to be too much. I got these back from the powder coated yesterday and all I can say is wow. This color is awesome. I don't how you will perceive it but in person looks amazing. So here's what else I had copper powder coated. Exhaust tips, strut bar, strut cover caps, shift knob, 2 camaro emblems, 5 stainless cold air intake clamps. So far I'm really digging it but I'm waiting to get my set of drag radials and when I do, I can put them on the car and I'll have a better look at it. Worse case scenario will be to have the wheels painted black. But I think once I can pull out of my worlds smallest garage then I'll know better but the engine bay looks amazing.

Unfortunately this is the best look I can I get right now. Waiting on the tires, but I think I like it.

Strut bar, emblems and exhaust tips. The strut bar ends will be painted black.
